“Blogging 101” Student

What appears bold or fearless is often sheer ignorance or misguided confidence that I am as likely to succeed as to fail. Many a project, assignment, or even a career move has been nothing more than being thrown or pushed into a pool and told, “Swim!” Gagging, splashing, flailing wildly to survive describes my particular dance with education, preparation and planning. Swimming to survive is a lot different than swimming skill. My isolated blogging experience is much the same.

Today I am the student, excited, willing and ready to learn from the beginning. This will require a lot of attentiveness to my impatience, and self will. By doing this work I hope to reduce my fear and resistance to those grave gravitars, winnowing widgets and all the other programming lingo that makes my eyes cross and head ache.

So bring on the Happiness Engineers. I’m on board. Coach, inspire, direct and amuse me as I try and do when I blog. Build my abilities and confidence. Let’s go! Michele
